Greetings everyone! It’s been a while since I have posted here but 2016 has been a busy year for Drug Track IQ . We have been working hard on implementations and helping to create the best solution possible for our clients. Look for more blog posts as we continue the journey with the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) into next year but for now below are some highlights from this year and next.
Enhanced Drug Track Engine: We recently added many new features to the Drug Track Engine to help you meet the day to day requirements of DSCSA based on feedback from you. Of course we have an electronic interface with trading partners so the collection of the majority 3T information is automatic and seamless for your operations. Many manufacturers are still sending paper transaction documents therefore have added the ability to scan and upload your paper documents to our tool. The paper documents become a part of your overall transaction documents in a single searchable repository. We have also added the ability to send DSCSA compliant transaction documents to any trading partner. Simply log into the tool, add your outside trading partner’s information, and print or email a PDF 3T document to them. We believe these two enhancements make us a complete solution for any pharmacy and not simply a portal to view 3T information. The most important enhancement to the Drug Track Engine is probably our solution for the 340B covered entity/contract pharmacy relationship. This relationship is not exempt from DSCSA but we ensure you are meeting requirements by added both the covered entity and contract pharmacy to the transaction history. We are the only solutions to offer this feature. If you want to know more about these enhancements head over to this link or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for a full demonstration.
340B Coalition Winter Conference: 340B is important to us and we know it is important to hospitals and health centers around the country. When we set out to build this company it was because we saw the need specifically for a solution to ensure compliance with DSCSA and allow covered entities and contract pharmacies to continue to operate unhindered. We are excited to attend the 13th Annual Winter Conference in San Francisco on February 1st through the 3rd as an exhibitor. If are are attending please make sure to stop by and talk with us.
Happy New Year from Drug Track IQ
